Funding Providers

National Lottery Community Fund

The National Lottery Community Fund has provided joint funding for our Project Leader, salaries for our part time
Youth Worker & Digital Engagement Worker and associated costs to keep Connect running until July 2022.

The Garfield Weston Foundation supports charities and their vital work across the UK.

Local Partners

St James Place Charitable Foundation

The St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation supports people in need through awarding grants to charities registered in the UK. With their funding, Connect Alloa were able to rent their own office space & expand their creative activities.

The Robertson Trust

The Robertson Trust is the largest independent grant-making trust in Scotland. They have helped Connect Alloa by part-funding our Project Leader role for 3 years.

Hawkhill Community Association

Based in Alloa,  Hawkhill is a community centre situated in the heart of the Hawkhill housing estate. They offer a wide range of facilities and activities to support the local community.

CTSI

Clackmannanshire's Third Sector Interface is a ‘single door’ access point for a range of support and services for charitable organisations, volunteering and social enterprise in Clackmannanshire.

Ochil View Housing Association

Ochil View are a local housing association established in 1989, providing affordable and sustainable accommodation in Clackmannanshire.

Home-Start Clackmannanshire

Home-Start works with families in the local community, supporting both parents and children. They provide a network of support, including group workshops and trained family volunteers.

Play Alloa

Play Alloa is a fantastic local charity supporting children, young people and adults with disabilities and learning difficulties from across Clackmannanshire.

Wimpy Park

Wimpy Park Community Group are responsible for reviving and maintaining Wimpy Park in Alloa. They have transformed this important local space over the past few years and have recently been selected as part of the  BBC's Beechgrove Garden makeover project.

Wee County Veterans

Wee County Veterans support and fundraise for local veterans in the Clackmannanshire community. They participate in poppy collections, distribute food hampers, and assist with memorials.

Youth 1st Fife have a vision of creating a vibrant and resilient community-based youth work sector where young people’s lives are transformed.

YouthLink Scotland

YouthLink Scotland champions the youth work sector, challenging government at national and local levels to invest in development and support for youth organisations and workers.

LGBT Youth Scotland

LGBT Youth Scotland is Scotland’s national charity for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Questioning and Intersex (LGBTQ+) young people.  We believe Scotland can be a place where all young people can thrive and flourish, and we work alongside young people to remove those barriers; working with young people individually, and amplifying their collective voices to influence change.

Youth Scotland is a national charity that aims to support and provide youth work across the country.
Our team have accessed funding opportunities, support and training through working with Youth Scotland.
