Our Story

Connect Alloa officially became a charity in 2019 and we’ve been working hard to support young people ever since.

Our charity founder, Dave Crozier, wanted to create a youth group that would not only support local young people, but enable them to become more involved and active within the wider Clackmannanshire community.

We initially partnered with St Mungo’s Parish Church to establish regular youth nights and create a safe space for young people to socialise. Now, we’ve moved into our own unit, where we continue to offer a variety of activities, including games, creative tasks and fundraising challenges. We are always open to new ideas, so feel free to get in touch with your suggestions.

Throughout the pandemic, we continued to support our young people by providing online sessions. Using multiplayer games and platforms like Discord, we were able to host digital youth nights and stay connected as a group. Now, we have transitioned to running only in-person sessions, allowing us to focus on creating engaging, interactive experiences for young people in a shared space.

Currently we host regular sessions every week on
Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays.
