Digital Outreach and Youth Worker

Hours: 25 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a Digital Outreach and Youth Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding our reach within the community and shaping the digital presence of Connect Alloa.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management: Lead on all social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Create engaging content to promote our events, programs, and initiatives while actively interacting with our online community.

Website Management:

Maintain and update the organization's website, ensuring it reflects our mission, values, and current activities. Develop and implement strategies to enhance user experience and drive traffic to the website.

Digital Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute a comprehensive digital outreach plan to effectively engage with parents, guardians, and young people in the community. Utilize analytics and feedback to refine strategies and maximise impact.

Youth Group Support:

Work collaboratively with our team to support four youth groups throughout the week. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where young people can participate in a range of activities and develop essential life skills.

Community Engagement:

Using online resources, act as a liaison between Connect Alloa and the wider community, building partnerships and networking with local organizations, schools, and stakeholders. Promote our services and initiatives to ensure maximum participation and support.

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for youth development and community engagement.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in social media management and website administration.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience working with young people in a supportive capacity is desirable.
