Connect Alloa is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people and providing them with a safe space to be themselves. Connect Alloa has been successful in providing support to young people for 4 years now. The more work we do with young people, the more it makes us realise how important our roles are in supporting, mentoring, and inspiring them to be the best versions of themselves that they can be.
As we enter our 4th year as a charity it is clear the impact we are making locally. As we continue to grow and expand, there are some exciting opportunities to volunteer with us and we are always looking for fresh ideas and providing opportunities to develop people’s skills and talents.
If you enjoy working with people, volunteering with us could be the perfect opportunity to not only give back to the community but gain experience in youth work and add to your CV. At Connect, we know that we would not be where we are right now without the support of every volunteer who has passed through our doors and we appreciate the time each and everyone has dedicated to us, past and present.
If you are looking for the next opportunity and want to bring your ideas and skills to the table in an exciting, yet encouraging environment Connect Alloa could be the opportunity for you.
We have certain positions in mind for now including Trustee, Youth Work Assistant and Fundraising Volunteer however if you feel you have another idea of how you may best serve the team then please do get in touch.
– Training will be provided both externally and on the job.
– PVG Disclosure Check essential for all volunteers (Paid for at no cost to volunteers)
