About Us

We’re Connect Alloa, a local youth charity tackling social isolation and loneliness among young people in Clackmannanshire.

We host regular youth group sessions where we play games, chat and get creative! Our group is open to any young person aged between Primary 7 and 19 years old.

We are always open to new members, so please feel free to get in touch and follow us on social media for updates!

New attendees need to complete our registration form.

Our story

Connect Alloa officially became a charity in 2019 and we’ve been working hard to support our young people ever since.

Our charity founder, Dave Crozier, wanted to create a youth group that would not only support local young people, but enable them to become more involved and active within the wider Clackmannanshire community.

Working with St Mungo’s Parish Church, we were able to establish regular youth nights and create a safe space for young people to socialise.

Our sessions cover a range of different activities, including games, creative tasks and fundraising challenges. We are always open to new ideas, so feel free to get in touch if you have a suggestion!

After a successful 2019, Connect Alloa was looking forward to a promising 2020. Then along came coronavirus. Like everyone else, we had to adjust our expectations and adapt to life online!

Throughout the pandemic, we’ve continued to support our young people by providing online sessions. Using multiplayer games and platforms like Discord, we have been able to provide digital youth nights and stay connected as a group.

We now provide a mix of online and face to face groups – providing options to those who would prefer different kinds of groups, activities, atmospheres and dynamics.

Currently we host regular sessions every week on Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.

Stay tuned on social media for updates or get in touch to find out more!
